01
Objective
Design a standardized packaging concept for treat and surprise packaging (like the Kinder Egg) available at a higher price point ($2-$3), this should be a low-cost packaging solution. Develop branding for this item that would attract consumers.
02
Market Research
I visited various grocery and toy stores to compare price per ounce, candies offered and popular toy options. The research led me into an ideation session.

03
Ideation
I led the design team through an ideation session to develop possible packaging solutions for the machines at Creative Werks. Following the session, I chose three solutions to fit the price point, the target consumer group, and the capabilities of the company.
04
Branding
In the branding stage, I went through a series of logo and asset changes. The final logo was hand-crafted and built for the confectionery market. The pink and orange gradient with question marks speaks to a young audience with a fresh look.

04
Render
Three package concepts were chosen for rendering, a cane with a mystery topper, a card with a blister pack, and a travel cup with a lid. I rendered the solutions through the use of OnShape, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
